Cool App Friday : Dozer (BarTender Alternative)

SO, I use a mac (a few actually) daily. I run a few small apps that are great, but they clutter up my top menu bar pretty badly. I had been using Bartender for the longest time, but after Big Sur beta was released – it looks like the folks that make Bartender have decided to create a new app instead of updating the old one, leaving us with a no longer functioning app unless you buy new. This to me – was incentive to find something else.

This brought me to Dozer. A free, easy to use, alternative.

How it works. Normally this is the part where I create a sh!t ton of screen shots, paste them all over the place, and hope I did a half way decent job. That being said, the dozer page has the most perfect animation so I just grabbed it from their site:

How to use the app after you install it:

Basically, when you click the DOT, it shows a second dot, anything to the LEFT of the second dot – is hidden when the first dot is clicked again or a bit of time has passed.
