Spotlight not responding?

So – your in the middle of 100 things, and restarting your computer because Spotlight isnt responding ISNT an option right now. Heres your quick fix.

1. Open Finder
2. Top RIGHT type TERMINAL (In search area)
   (Or you can browse to APPLICATIONS\UTILITIES and 2x click Terminal)
3. Open Terminal
4. Type : sudo killall spotlight (Hit enter)
5. Type : sudo killall mds (Hit enter)
6. Spotlight should now be responding. Good luck!
