So I made the mistake of formatting my bootable partition with the Mac OS Case Sensitive file system. Got all my apps installed Outlook, Office, bla bla bla, last app – Adobe CS5. Almost instantly it complained about not working on a Case Sensitive file system and WOULD NOT allow me to install to my secondary drive because it was not bootable.. (WTKF(*#$&#(*$&%(#*$&%)(#!!!!!!!!!!)
So my after a few hours of looking for ways to force install to another drive, force install to case sensitive fs, etc. I was about to give up when I came across carbon copy cloner.
Carbon copy cloner allows for LIVE cloning of any partition to any other partition as long as it has enough space. So I quickly created a bootable partition and carbon copied all the data to the other partition, deleted the original boot partition, recreated it without case sensitivity, cloned BACK to the original drive and all was good.

Configuring an HTC incredible for the wifey. She had stock 2.2.1 on her phone all bogged down with HTC’s bloated “additions” (More like detractions) to the base Android OS. Gingerbread 2.3.x has been out for a while and is technically out of date but still loads better than Froyo (need to try one of these some day, the desert that is) So, I was all ready to rock and roll, all the steps laid out before me to move her over to CM7RC4 THEN I found Rom Manger. This app rocks, takes care of all the nitty gritty stuff for you. Modified boot loader, NAND backup, ROM Downloading, GApps, Applying ROM, Clearing cache, etc.. Super awesome – anyone looking to FIX the built in @$#*( on your HTC Incredible – this is the way to go.
Usefull tool of the day : Symantec CleanWipe Uninstaller
Symantec Endpoint security can be a PAIN in the A$$ to have to uninstall when your intaking a new customer and no one has a clue as to what the console password is. Here is save the day – or at least the hour is the Clean Wipe Utility from Symantec.
